If you've visited ChitChatChomp before, you'll already know that I'm a little obsessed with citrus cakes. Lemon, lime, orange...bring it on....I'm not fussed.
So whilst looking through my assigned "secret blog" for this months Secret Recipe Club Challenge, I broke into a little happy dance when the following words shouted out to me....
French Lemon Yoghurt Cake

I realise the whole point of joining this club was to get out of my comfort zone and find new inspiration, but how could I possibly go past a recipe with French in the title.....it's just the way I roll.....
I really enjoyed the dense texture of this cake, however with the added syrup at the end, I have to admit that I did find it a little too sweet for my taste buds. This does make the cake wonderfully moist, but I wonder if I'd have preferred it without?
